Cloaks Please click photographs and links to see larger photos. Our luxurious velvet cloaks are hand made with a fine triple madonna velvet outer shell and a full satin lining. Each cloak requires over 14 yards of material to make. The outer shell panels are cut from a single piece of velvet to ensure the nap and color is uniform throughout. The 4 panel design ensures proper fit on the shoulders. The full hood is reinforced along the forward edge with braid for extra durability and to prevent the hood from flopping down over the wearer's face. A border knot metal clasp secures the cloak at the collar. A rope frog in a Celtic knot design could be substituted. Each cloak is made to order and will be created according to the measurements you provide. Available in ten color combinations. Due to the nature of the dyeing process some color variation between lots of fabric can occur. However, we never mix lots on a cloak. Dry clean only.
